1966 Ford GT mach II - Original

This drawing, "1966 Ford GT mach II," famous for its appearance in the 2019 movie "Ford vs Ferrari," was one of the most technical and challenges drawings I had attempted up to this point. Wanting to capture all angles of this magnificent masterpiece of a vehicle, I chose to render multiple viewpoints of the car, starting with the 'simple' front and back views at the top of the paper, and ending with the view of the car from above at the bottom. 
 
Wow. What a masterpiece in engineering, and what a thrill it was to complete this drawing; the outlining and rendering alike, created entirely with black pens and Copic alcohol-based markers. Hang this piece on any wall and you'll certainly have heads turning - especially if the viewer admirers historic cars and the timeless sport of racing!
